What makes this tour unique

North Wales and Snowdonia’s Medieval Castles are everything what myths and
legendary stories stir up in one’s imagination. Inflame those thoughts on this magical
medieval tour by visiting 4 of the iconic castles in Wales.

  • Start at the jewel of welsh seaside resorts and see the beautiful bay of Llandudno and its Victorian heritage of architecture

  • Drive the Great Orme Road, the longest of its kind in the UK, in search of the world famous Kashmiri Goats, showcasing spectacular cliffs, wildlife, and elevated views out to the Irish Sea and Anglesey.

  • The “stand alone” ancient castle town of Conwy, you will have the opportunity to view the castle’s spectacular domineering and towering walls and catch that picture perfect photo from the Conwy estuary bridge! (Admission to the village is free. A payable free required for castle entry).

  • Marvel at this little gem set upon the bank of the estuary and built into the castle walls is Great Britain’s smallest house. With arms outstretched, you can  touch either side.
  • Step back in time when you visit this Medieval Norman Castle. Its innards will blow your mind. It was originally a medieval fortified manor house, founded by Ednyfed Fychan in 1438. This building is spectacular both inside and out with wonderful gardens to explore.  (entrance fee required).
  • On route we drive over the world famous Menai Suspension Bridge. Designed to carry road traffic between the island of Anglesey and the mainland of Wales. The bridge was the world first and biggest in the world of its time and was completed in 1826 and is a Grade I listed structure.
  • Beaumaris is a captivating seaside town, with its mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Enjoy a walk through the town, stroll along the seafront, taking in the pier and the views over the Menai Strait and Snowdonia then continuing through the charming streets with their picturesque cottages, many painted  in soft pastel colours. You can also visit and walk the grounds of the beautiful and unique castle. (Admission to the village is free. A payable free required for castle entry).
  • As we came to the island over one iconic bridge, leave the Island over another. The Britannia Bridge. Built to aid the UK’s connection for trading with Ireland.
  • The brute fortress medieval castle town of Caernarfon. Take a walk round this world heritage site. After all these years Caernarfon’s immense strength remains undimmed. History comes alive at Caernarfon in so many ways – along the lofty wall walks, beneath the twin-towered gatehouse, walk the town’s narrow and colourful streets and stylishly redeveloped waterfront of the Menai. (Admission to the town is free, fee payable for castle entrance).
  • A beautiful and relaxing way to finish the tour by enjoying the views of the spectacular North Wales coastal driving route on our return to Llandudno, Seeing beautiful beaches, coastline and mountains.
